In the summer of 2022, we organize a series of talks about the startup of a Ph.D student within the KEG group, including how to write and evaluate a paper, cook an idea and lead a team. We hope such efforts can be helpful to the newcomers of research.

In recent times, the GPT series of models, represented by ChatGPT, have demonstrated the capabilities of large-scale language models to millions of users. However, the challenge of utilizing the abilities of existing large models to better serve structured knowledge scenarios and solve real-world problems remains a pressing issue across various fields. This report takes a knowledge engineering perspective and, using large-scale online education scenarios as an example, presents relevant research experience and explores possible research directions in the new era of large models.
